Director, Biostatistics, WCH

Role: Lead biostatistics for late-stage nephrology clinical projects as Director of Biostatistics, West Coast Hub, providing strategic oversight and scientific direction. Responsibilities: develop and manage statistical activities, supervise and mentor statisticians, collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to clinical development plans, regulatory submissions, and evidence generation strategies; represent biostatistics to regulatory agencies and external stakeholders; drive innovation and process improvements within the department. Qualifications: PhD in Biostatistics or Statistics; 8+ years in pharma/biotech with expertise in clinical trial methodology, statistical principles, and late-stage development; experience with regulatory interactions (FDA/EMA), regulatory submissions, and nephrology or immunology therapeutic areas preferred. High-Value: late-stage (Phases 2-3/post-market), nephrology indication, regulatory engagement, statistical leadership, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and team supervision. Work Setup: ideally based in San Francisco, CA.
