Director, Biostatistics

Role: Senior Biostatistician leading statistical activities across Tango Therapeutics' oncology clinical programs. Objectives include optimizing trial designs, overseeing statistical deliverables from CROs, and supporting regulatory submissions. Responsibilities encompass authoring and reviewing statistical analysis plans and clinical documents, ensuring data quality, performing ad hoc analyses, and contributing to study reports and publications. The role also involves process standardization, representing the company in external meetings, and supporting inspection readiness. Requirements: PhD in statistics or related field; minimum 10 years of industry experience with oncology clinical trials; expertise in trial design, analysis, and reporting; proficiency with SAS, R, SDTM, and ADaM standards; experience with IND/NDA submissions and regulatory interactions; strong communication skills. Preferred qualifications include deep knowledge of FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines, and prior experience managing outsourced statistical services. The role demands a proactive, collaborative individual with the ability to lead multiple studies independently. Location is Boston-based, with focus on advanced statistical methodologies and trial designs specific to oncology drug development.
