Role Summary

Director, ATTR Insights, Analytics, and Forecasting. Responsible for generating and executing insights, analytics and forecasting to support ATTR commercialization and go-to-market planning, partnering across commercial operations, sales, market access, supply, finance, marketing and program teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key stakeholder for the ATTR cross-functional program team, ensuring a single source of truth to drive strategic planning decisions
  • Represent the Commercial Insights, Analytics and Forecasting function with the cross-functional ATTR program team and collaborate across the Commercial Operations function
  • Lead development and execution of an insights generation plan to support ATTR Global Commercial Planning using best practices and capabilities
  • Support country-level business case assessments to evaluate and prioritize geographic expansion opportunities
  • Collaborate and leverage established forecasting capabilities and best practices
  • Design and execute primary market research addressing key questions for ATTR market opportunity and launch planning
  • Develop and refine ATTR commercial forecast models, including market-based models to forecast pipeline uptake and market evolution of competitive products
  • Support scenario planning by modeling the impact of internal and external factors; maintain forecast models with latest information and documentation
  • Partner with supply chain to support SOP processes for manufacturing and inventory management
  • Integrate ATTR insights using predictive models from diverse data sources to provide actionable insights, opportunities, risks, and strategic assessments
  • Mine and synthesize secondary data to understand patient/customer journeys, therapy utilization and market landscape
  • Monitor and communicate ATTR market, environmental and competitive activity to provide proactive analysis of impact
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations to optimize customer segmentation, targeting, call planning and resource allocation
  • Work with technology and operations teams to ensure systems capture and process necessary data for analytics
  • Contribute to Commercial planning and budgeting with timely input into the I&A and forecasting plan
  • Be an active member of the Commercial Insights, Analytics and Forecasting team and support across the portfolio as the organization matures toward first commercial product launch

Qualifications

  • Track record in forecasting, analytics and insight generation for program teams
  • Understanding of secondary data sources attributes, strengths and gaps
  • Strong strategic agility to analyze complex issues and adapt to market dynamics
  • Ability to generate insights, interpret data, develop KPIs and leverage predictive models to influence across the organization
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to summarize information for Senior Leadership
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, collaborative environment; strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive planning and project/meeting management abilities
  • Organized and flexible with changing direction
  • BA/BS in a quantitative field
  • 7-10 years of life science industry or relevant consulting experience
  • At least 5-7 years of direct forecasting and insights experience
  • Experience in cell/gene therapy, rare disease and/or cardiovascular areas
  • Commercial launch experience
  • Proven cross-functional partnering in a matrix environment
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical primary and secondary data sources, including claims data
  • Experience building advanced analytical techniques to inform strategic business issues and successful product launches
  • Experience in data visualization and analytics solutions in patient analytics and AI scope
