Role Summary

Director / Associate Director Global Product Strategy and Commercialization for mRNA Cancer Therapies. The role contributes to Core Program Teams and the Global Commercialization Subteam, shaping program decisions from pre-clinical stages to pivotal trial designs, with the goal of optimizing impact for patients, healthcare providers, and payers. It involves aligning the Global Strategic Plan and preparing the organization for launch and commercialization of Oncology Products globally, developing key Global Brand deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Program Teams (including Clinical Development, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Research, etc.) to shape program decisions to maximize patient impact globally.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, including market shaping, product branding, positioning, and scientific messaging to maximize the number of appropriate patients treated.
  • Leverage understanding of oncology healthcare customers (providers, key opinion leaders, patients, market access stakeholders) to inform go-to-market approaches that drive customer behavior change and market performance.
  • Monitor and analyze market, customer, and competitor trends, incorporating insights into cross-functional decisions and commercialization plans.
  • Provide strategic direction to cross-functional groups (Insights & Analytics, R&D, regulatory affairs, sales, finance, Medical Affairs) for development and implementation of strategic and executional plans.
  • Manage budget requirements and ensure monitoring and tracking accordingly.
  • Manage vendor partnerships to ensure key activities are executed to plan, cost-effectively and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry with increasing responsibilities at Global or Affiliate level.
  • Knowledge and experience in NSCLC, Breast, GI and Colorectal cancer markets or complex individualized therapies (Car-T, RLT) is required.
  • Experience in launch within a Global or affiliate Brand Team or New Product Planning / Early Commercial Strategy.
  • Experience in global or affiliate commercial/marketing roles or as a consultant supporting these functions.
  • An Undergraduate degree is required.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong collaboration, team- and alignment-building skills.
  • Fluent in English.

Education

  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA, PhD or similar considered a plus.
