Director, Applied AI Solutions, N.A. Commercial

Role: Lead the development and execution of North America Commercial AI solutions, focusing on leveraging AI to enhance patient finding, HCP engagement, insights, and operational workflows. Responsibilities include designing scalable AI-powered applications (e.g., LLMs, RAG, agentic AI), translating business needs into technical solutions, managing solution lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with privacy and responsible AI standards. The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams—Commercial, Data Science, IT, Legal—and evaluating AI vendors and platforms like Snowflake Cortex and Salesforce/Agentforce. It requires building, testing, and deploying AI models, establishing KPIs, and operationalizing solutions into workflows to generate measurable business impact. Qualifications: 10+ years in software, machine learning, or applied AI, with 2+ years hands-on experience in production-grade LLM/GenAI solutions, proficiency in Python, SQL, cloud AI services, and AI delivery practices. Preferred: experience in pharma/biotech commercial applications, healthcare data (EHR, claims), and vendor assessments. Education: BA/BS in a quantitative field; MS/PhD and cloud certifications are a plus. Knowledge of privacy, compliance, and AI governance in healthcare is desirable. The position is remote, with a compensation range of $177,000–$260,000, including incentives, benefits, and a focus on solution delivery, governance, and long-term AI strategy in a biopharma commercial context.
