Position Summary:
As Director, AI Engineering and Enablement within BMS’s AI Engineering and Enablement team, you will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable Enterprise AI applications. Drive the technical strategy for Gen AI solutions, ensuring robust integration, security, and performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and build end-to-end GenAI applications.
- Define solution architectures leveraging AWS, Azure, and GCP for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Present and propose technical solutions aligned to requirements.
- Plan and coordinate project deliveries to meet timelines and business needs.
- Develop core features and infrastructure; write production-grade code in Python, React, and other languages as needed.
- Lead best software engineering practices (modularity, version control, CI/CD, automated testing) and perform code/architecture reviews.
- Set standards for clear documentation of architectures, processes, and code.
- Research, design, and implement agentic AI solutions (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph) and autonomous agents with reasoning, multi-step workflows, and tool use.
- Optimize agent performance, reliability, and compliance; evaluate emerging AI techniques and recommend strategies.
- Develop React user interfaces; integrate front-end with back-end APIs and AI models; collaborate with UX/UI.
- Maintain/evolve RESTful APIs and microservices; deploy, monitor, and maintain AI apps using cloud-native infrastructure (containers, CI/CD, observability) and oversee cloud cost/performance.
- Directly manage engineers (hiring, onboarding, day-to-day activities), provide mentorship, set objectives, and conduct performance reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years in software/AI engineering; 3+ years leading technical teams.
- Proven experience developing and deploying enterprise applications in AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Advanced Python and React skills; familiarity with GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph).
- Strong understanding of AI lifecycle, security, compliance, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
