Responsibilities
- Define and lead an AI communications strategy and narrative for internal/external audiences aligned to company priorities.
- Create consistent, high-impact messaging frameworks across channels and stakeholders.
- Set measurable communication goals; track/report progress and evidenced value.
- Use internal/external insights; provide crisis/issues management support as needed.
- Manage budget, resources, and agency partners (as applicable).
- Oversee external engagement: media interviews, speaking opportunities, and industry positioning; prepare leaders (briefing materials, messaging, media training, on-site support).
- Lead internal storytelling and change engagement to drive awareness, understanding, adoption of AI, and pride in the AI journey.
- Develop/update communications templates, toolkits, and GenAI/agentic enablement resources; support change communications.
- Partner with Talent and AI learning teams to promote development/upskilling (learning pathways, resources, communities of practice).
- Oversee content strategy (editorial direction, content calendar, multi-channel distribution) and create key content assets.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required).
- 8–10 years in external/corporate/executive/change communications and employee engagement.
- 3–5 years supervisory and/or leading complex matrixed teams.
- Strong GenAI fluency in day-to-day communications work.
- Proven executive counseling; consistent enterprise-wide messaging.
- Strong storytelling and writing/editing across media.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in employee/internal comms, change comms, PR, external engagement, corporate reputation.
- Healthcare industry and/or Fortune 500 experience.
- AI communications strategy/engagement.
- PR agency experience.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Salary range: $173,200.00–$272,600.00; annual bonus and long-term incentive (if applicable). Comprehensive benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement (401(k)), paid holidays/vacation, and sick/compassionate days.
