Director, AI Architecture & Governance

Role: Senior technical leader overseeing AI architecture and governance within Sarepta's biopharma R&D environment, focusing on enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI solutions. Responsibilities: define and maintain enterprise AI reference architecture; lead platform strategy and tooling decisions; establish governance, validation, and compliance standards aligned with regulatory and CSV requirements; develop data governance and security models; oversee AI use case portfolio execution; promote cross-functional alignment and adoption. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred); 12+ years (BA/BS) or 10+ years (MA/MS) of related experience; 8+ years in AI/ML, data platforms, or enterprise architecture; strong understanding of AI system architecture, cloud data platforms, and governance models; proven influencing and communication skills. Preferred: experience in biotech/pharma R&D, regulated environments, and collaboration with CSV/quality teams. High-Value: enterprise AI strategy, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, regulated data and AI systems, hybrid work setup with onsite presence in the US, no explicit travel requirement.
