Director, Advanced Analytics and Data Science - Innovation

Role: Lead the development and scaling of advanced analytics and AI solutions within the Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence to enhance data-driven decision-making across Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Operations in oncology-focused biopharma. Responsibilities: contribute to analytics strategy, innovate with predictive models, generative AI, and patient journey analytics; partner closely with cross-functional teams including IT, Data Engineering, Legal, and external vendors; ensure governance, model explainability, and responsible AI practices; lead and coach analytics teams, establish standards, and promote data literacy. Requirements: 10+ years industry experience, with 8+ years in advanced analytics, data science, or related functions; expertise in healthcare data sources such as claims, EHR, clinical trial data; proven leadership in implementing analytics and AI initiatives supporting commercial strategy, clinical trial acceleration, and omnichannel engagement; strong stakeholder influence and communication skills. Preferred: advanced degree (Master’s, Ph.D., MBA), experience with AI/ML platforms and tools (Python, R, cloud data warehouses), and knowledge of pharmaceutical data privacy, compliance, and governance.
