Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Clinical Development and Site Engagement, this position supports all dietary needs across the clinical development program, including study-specific menus and diet/nutrition references, dietary feedback in protocol designs, and coordination with the Site Engagement team. Works with research coordinators, investigators, and study teams to provide site-level participant support, address concerns, and support engagement/retention.
Job Responsibilities
- Build menus for inpatient trials and support sites with nutrition/diet questions tied to clinical trial protocols
- Develop and implement study materials related to the role
- Build and maintain relationships with study teams, sites, CROs, and vendors to support trial retention
- Partner with advocacy groups/organizations that support clinical trial retention and grow role expertise
- Work with Site Engagement Leads and Retention Specialists to expand team capabilities
Qualifications
- M.S. in Dietetics with 6 years related experience; or B.S. in Dietetics and/or Nutrition with 8+ years relevant experience
- Active State registration/licensure (asset)
- Extensive experience in chronic weight management/diabetes/metabolic diseases
- Dietary support related to GLP-1 use
- Deep understanding of clinical trial process; ability to develop dietary tools that support participant experience
- Strong analytical skills (trial metrics, trends, goal adjustment in fast-paced settings)
- Excellent communication and patient-centered interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple timelines with cross-functional groups
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Travel Required
- ~20% hybrid (San Francisco area) or ~40% remote
