Role: Diagnostics Solutions Consultant (DSC) โ€“ field-based, customer-facing sales (Maryland)

Position Responsibilities:
- Sell Zoetis diagnostic instruments, tests, and associated products/services within an assigned US territory.
- Build and maintain customer relationships to maximize retention and achieve budgeted sales quotas.
- Maintain sales funnel and customer profile data in the system.
- Develop and maintain thorough understanding of diagnostic products and service.
- Travel within territory (up to 60โ€“70%); target 3โ€“4 existing customers and 3โ€“4 new business opportunities per day; extensive driving and periodic overnight travel (approx. 4โ€“8 nights/month).
- Document customer/prospect interactions in an online system.
- Transport, lift/set up, and demonstrate diagnostic equipment/solutions.
- Communicate uses/benefits and the value proposition; answer questions.
- Secure purchase orders.
- Provide ongoing customer support (in person, phone, email), courtesy calls, keep clients informed of new products/services, and coordinate with sales, accounting, and technical staff.
- Work with Diagnostic Technical Specialists to enhance utilization and customer service.
- Generate new business/leads, including referrals and placing instruments in competitor accounts/academia/research settings.
- Support billing and collection efforts.
- Safely lift and move 60 lbs.

Education and Experience:
- 4+ years demonstrated sales experience, or relevant technical/clinical experience (medical/scientific/healthcare preferred).
- Associateโ€™s degree minimum (Bachelorโ€™s preferred); science or business emphasis preferred or equivalent.

Technical Skills and Competencies:
- Fluent English.
- Strong technical sales aptitude and rapid learning.
- Veterinary terminology/science expertise.
- Experience selling capital equipment in physician and/or veterinary clinics.
- Presentation skills (including financial presentations); ability to transport/set-up/demonstrate equipment quickly.
- Organizational, time management, prioritization, multitasking, and independent work.
- Valid Driverโ€™s License, clean driving record, auto insurance.

Benefits/Compensation:
- Base salary range: $67,000โ€“97,000.
- Eligible for short-term and long-term incentives.
- Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare/insurance (day one), 401(k) with match and profit-sharing, and 4 weeks vacation.
