Position Summary
DevOps Engineer to bridge software development and operations, delivering reliable, scalable, secure production services. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support daily platform operations, including specification, deployment, and qualification of infrastructure systems.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Architect and implement automated, reproducible environments using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines (testing, container registries, release gates).
- Build/manage/optimize Kubernetes workloads (deployments, networking, storage, Helm, resource governance).
- Harden container images; enforce least privilege with Kubernetes RBAC and network policies (e.g., NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Design and operate observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack) with dashboards, alerts, and incident processes.
- Implement shift-left security, secret management, RBAC, and vulnerability scanning; embed DevSecOps best practices.
- Set up observability (logging, metrics, distributed tracing).
- Collaborate with developers, QA, product owners, and security; document and lead knowledge sharing.
- Document infrastructure/architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures; maintain SOPs and templates.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or related + 5+ years relevant experience (required).
- 3+ years in DevOps/SRE/infra engineering (required).
- CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) (required).
- Pharmaceutical/biotech experience (preferred).

Skills
- Observability (Prometheus/Grafana/Loki/ELK), networking fundamentals, Linux, Git, container registries.
- Security: image hardening, RBAC, network policies, vulnerability scanning.
- IaC: Terraform/Ansible (preferred); scripting (Bash, Python).
- Kubernetes expertise (deployment, networking, storage, Helm).
- Strong communication, collaboration, project management.
