Role: Technician responsible for producing detector arrays for imaging systems through electrical, mechanical, and chemical operations. Responsibilities include processing, assembling, inspecting, testing intricate ceramic, electrical, and mechanical components, recognizing defective parts, performing rework, and maintaining process control charts. May set up and operate complex computer-controlled machinery, perform miscellaneous tasks to support efficient production. Requirements: demonstrated ability to interpret drawings, use measuring devices, perform precise assembly, and manufacture close-tolerance detector components using complex machinery; physical ability to handle parts, perform repetitive motions, and work in cleanroom environments; pass vision and physical screenings. Preferred: experience with electronic/mechanical assemblies and working in regulated environments.
