Detail Polish (Thursday - Saturday & every other Wednesday 5a-5p)

Role: The CPT-Detail Polish technician performs intricate hand polishing, shaping, and blending of small medical device components for On-X Mechanical Heart Valves, ensuring conformance to specifications through visual and dimensional inspection. Responsibilities include operating microscopes, polishing tools, laser etching equipment, and performing measurements, while maintaining traceability and cleanliness. The role involves following detailed procedures, monitoring results, and ensuring safety practices. Qualifications: High school diploma with 2+ years in manufacturing, inspection, or assembly; manual dexterity; experience with FDA & ISO manufacturing standards; proficiency in using microscopes and basic computer skills; strong attention to detail and communication skills. Preferred: prior experience in inspection or intricate hand work. High-value specifics: focus on medical device manufacturing within a regulated (FDA, ISO) environment, working on intricate implant components, with potential cross-training opportunities. Schedule: Training phase Monday–Friday, transitioning to regular schedule; work days are Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday, with a focus on a clean, safety-conscious work environment.
