Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, retain, mentor, and lead a diverse team of Territory Account Specialists to deliver strategic sales objectives; establish and manage team accountability through KPI communication and performance engagement.
- Model expectations and accountability; encourage a shared vision and enable others to act; challenge the status quo to optimize processes.
- Monitor and mentor Territory Account Specialists to orchestrate total account activity by coordinating resource deployment to plan, communicate, and follow through on customer needs.
- Develop, implement, and cultivate a customer-centric business plan with customer engagement and cross-functional partners to optimize customer experience and product demand.
- Contribute to regional leadership efforts for regional goals, business execution, team development, and culture.
- Embed a customer-centric, high-performance culture that encourages speaking up, problem-solving, collaboration, experimentation, and learning from setbacks.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of clinical, access, and reimbursement; territory management; and omni-channel marketing tools to develop and mentor team members during field contacts and 1:1 sessions.
- Use analytics platforms to advise decisions and identify risk/opportunity to ensure effective deployment of resources (face-to-face meetings, omni-channel resources, total office calls, and cross-functional partners).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year college/university).
- Leadership experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams (may include medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, or B2B). Internal Sales Associates eligible if ELDP completed or 2+ years pharma/biotech sales management within last two years.
- 2+ years’ experience as a first-line sales manager with strong strategic thinking and enterprise mindset.
- Demonstrated success attracting, developing, and retaining diverse talent and building high-performing collaborative teams.
- Proven ability to drive sales growth, lead cross-functional partnerships, and execute strategic initiatives in complex, multi-regional environments.
- Experience managing field organizations through change, innovation, or growth is highly valued.
- Must reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commute (within 100 miles of territory border). Ability to travel 60–80% across broad geography; must be able to drive and/or fly in territory. Valid driver’s license.

Desirable:
- Experience leading teams advancing into large practices, hospitals, IDNs, and Systems of Care (SoC), with understanding of reimbursement for outpatient (payer) and inpatient (DRG/Medicare).

Driving (Essential Function):
- Must have a fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license.

Training (Field roles with dedicated training period):
- Required to complete initial training, including home study; up to 8 or fewer hours per day and 40 or fewer hours per week.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Salary range: Area Business Leader I: $145,600–$270,400; Area Business Leader II: $160,300–$297,700; Senior Area Business Leader: $176,400–$327,600.
- Performance-based cash incentive; possible eligibility for annual equity awards.
