Key Objectives/Deliverables
- Partner with project controls teams to deliver large capital programs ($500MM+ USD) from front-end planning (conceptual design) through operational qualification (cradle to grave), ensuring safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
- Serve as an independent lead for project controls to ensure compliance with standard processes and drive consistency.
- Manage project control activities on major capital projects: cost/schedule/resource baselines, resource management, contract strategy input, change control, risk management, actual cost monitoring, pay application auditing, contract management, and forecasting/cashflows.
- Lead and train project control teams.
- Ensure proper application of Lilly finance policies on capital projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelorβs in business management, finance, engineering, construction, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ yearsβ experience in project controls on major industrial/manufacturing projects.
- Authorization to work in the United States full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas.
Additional Preferences
- Certifications (e.g., RICS, AACE, PMI).
- Proficiency with project management systems (SAP, Oracle Unifier, Primavera P6, Deltec Acumen Fuse, @Risk, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of estimating, cost management, change/risk management, planning/scheduling, and WBS/CBS.
- Leadership through influence/coaching; strategic thinking; strong written/verbal communication.
- Willingness to relocate and/or travel.
Benefits/Compensation (as stated)
