Delivery Operations Head- Vaccines

Role Summary

Delivery Operations Head- Vaccines based in Morristown, NJ. Lead product operations to embed operational excellence into vaccine delivery, manage distribution partnerships, and design innovative delivery solutions to support timely, compliant supply and the company’s vaccine portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Management: Lead and develop a team of 7 employees, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement; set goals, monitor performance, and provide coaching to drive success.
• Operational Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with franchise teams to embed operational excellence into brand value propositions for Public, Retail, Health systems, and Independent segments; define and implement enterprise-wide strategies to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective vaccine supply across distribution channels; lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver innovative, scalable solutions; drive end-to-end process optimization and scalable operations for complex product launches; establish accountability frameworks across units to ensure budget adherence and risk mitigation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Forge partnerships with Industrial Affairs, Brand Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, North America Distribution, Finance, and Executive Leadership; act as operational liaison to commercial teams and establish governance frameworks for clear roles and decisions; navigate interdependencies to mitigate risk and deliver commitments in a regulated environment.
• Supply Assurance: Ensure uninterrupted vaccine availability by identifying risks, managing contingencies, overseeing inventory planning, demand forecasting, and distribution strategies; maintain accountability frameworks and drive scenario planning to sustain resilience.
• Governance & Reporting: Develop and monitor KPIs for operational performance and supply chain health; provide regular updates to senior leadership on status, risks, and mitigation plans.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Required: 10+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or related roles, preferably in pharmaceuticals or vaccines.
• Required: At least 5 years of progressive leadership/people management experience.
• Required: Experience working with global supply chain and manufacturing groups; proven leadership driving cross-functional initiatives; strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Required: This position may require up to 30% overall business travel.

Education
