DD&T Functional Learning Lead Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the end-to-end learning strategy for DD&T, aligned to Takeda’s learning strategy
- Develop and maintain the learning ecosystem; design and manage delivery of learning experiences; coach others
- Lead and manage a global team of DD&T Learning practitioners (6–8) to execute the defined strategy
- Build and sustain DD&T functional capabilities; ensure effective, compliant, efficient delivery of mandatory and role-based training
- Partner with Global Learning to integrate enterprise leadership/professional skills needs into DD&T offerings
- Own strategy and operating model for mandatory training; translate regulatory/policy/SOP requirements into role-specific curricula and training matrices
- Ensure LMS training assignment logic reflects role architecture and risk profiles
- Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of training content (eLearning, microlearning, virtual ILT, assessments) with SMEs and global standards
- Monitor completion, effectiveness, quality metrics; address gaps and recurring findings; simplify mandatory training (reduce duplication, optimize length/frequency)
- Design and deploy high-impact functional learning programs (e.g., onboarding, digital academy, AI Activator, role transitions)
- Integrate on-the-job learning, coaching, and communities of practice; partner with external providers when specialized expertise is needed
- Lead stakeholder management and change leadership for learning initiatives
- Oversee learning operations (content lifecycle, catalog governance, scheduling, vendors/partners, budget); define KPIs; use analytics to refine strategy

Qualifications / Skills (Required/Preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree in HR/Organizational Development/Education or related field; Master’s/PhD preferred
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in related field (technology or data-driven environments); at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven L&D strategy design/implementation in a complex global organization (pharmaceutical/biotech/life sciences preferred)
- Deep expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning technologies
- Strong knowledge of regulatory expectations and training design/documentation implications
- Strategic alignment of L&D initiatives to business objectives
- Advanced collaboration and stakeholder management (influence senior leaders)
- Data analytics proficiency for learning outcomes and continuous improvement
- Familiarity with emerging learning trends (AI, gamification, personalized learning)
- Strong communication, facilitation, and change leadership; expert presentation and writing skills
- Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Captivate or relevant technologies; coaching others in advanced eLearning
- Experience managing complex projects (e.g., Jira, Scrum)
