Position Summary
Data Scientist (Biometrics and Data Management) to advance internal platforms and develop scalable data science tools for clinical research and trial optimization.
Job Responsibilities
- Enhance existing platforms through development, validation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Develop and validate data science tools for clinical research and trial optimization.
- Ensure scalability, maintainability, and reliability of analytical solutions using software engineering best practices (testing, documentation, CI/CD).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years data science experience (Bachelor’s), 8 years (Master’s), or 4 years (Ph.D.); including at least 3 years hands-on production-grade software development in Python or R.
- Demonstrated understanding of software architecture, performance optimization, and validation.
- Expertise in Machine Learning/Deep Learning (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch).
- Familiar with data visualization (ggplot2, Plotly, Matplotlib, or Seaborn).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
- Experienced with GitHub.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in related field.
- Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure and Docker.
- Production experience with LLMs/GenAI.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
