Data Science & AI Innovation Postdoctoral Fellow

Role: Postdoctoral Fellow in biomedical research focusing on developing AI platforms for drug discovery and translational medicine. Responsibilities: develop and operationalize multi-agent AI systems to analyze biomedical data (genetics, multi-omics, literature), drive translational applications, collaborate across scientific and engineering teams, and establish evaluation frameworks for AI utility and governance. Requirements: PhD in a relevant scientific discipline (conferred in 2026), strong record of scientific achievement, interest and experience in applying AI/machine learning to biomedical research, familiarity with complex biomedical data modalities, and commitment to innovation. Preferred qualifications: experience with AI in regulated environments and translational research. High-value specifics: focus on biomedical data integration, AI-driven biomarker discovery, human genetics, multi-omics, and translational research within drug discovery pipelines. Location: onsite in San Diego, CA; no visa sponsorship or relocation support. Duration: full-time, up to three years, starting October 1, 2026.
