Data Product Lead

Role: Lead the development, operation, and continuous improvement of commercial data pipelines and data products supporting Takeda's USBU and OBU units. Responsibilities: own end-to-end data ingestion, transformation, and curation of sales, claims, pharmacy, CRM, and third-party data; manage platform onboarding, change management, issue resolution, and data validation; collaborate with stakeholders on data platform validation and strategic data initiatives; ensure data quality, compliance, and security; define roadmap for core commercial data assets; lead a technical team while setting engineering standards for reliability, version control, and deployment; and partner with vendors and enterprise data teams. Requirements: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field; 10+ years in data engineering with 4+ years managing technical teams; expertise in cloud-based data pipelines on AWS, Databricks, Spark; extensive experience with pharma commercial datasets including claims, sales, EHR, formulary, digital, and speaker program data; strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational change skills. Preferred: experience in pharmaceutical healthcare data governance, analytics, and working within regulated environments (HIPAA, privacy laws). The role is based in Boston, MA, and involves leadership within a cross-functional, global matrix environment focused on data modernization and AI integration to enhance commercial insights.
