What You Will Do
- Define and lead the strategic data & architectural vision for Lilly’s contract management and rebate platform, aligned to LVA business objectives and enterprise standards.
- Serve as the primary technical voice with IntegriChain; influence the vendor product roadmap to advance operational and AI/automation goals.
- Partner with LVA business collaborators and T@L product teams to turn contract/payment challenges into technical requirements, platform enhancements, and roadmap priorities.
- Lead architecture reviews, risk assessments, and governance forums; ensure SOX-audit-compliant, scalable, resilient, secure solutions.
- Identify and prioritize AI/automation opportunities across LVA processes (contracts, formulary analysis, rebate reconciliation).
- Architect and implement AI-powered solutions and integrations with ICyte, SAP, and other Lilly systems.
- Integrate agentic AI workflows with IntegriChain workflows to accelerate interpretation of contract/government pricing data and reduce manual effort.
- Govern application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure architecture across the LVA platform ecosystem.
- Establish architectural standards/patterns; drive modernization, cloud optimization, and technical debt reduction.
- Provide lifecycle architecture guidance; resolve complex technical/operational/business issues.
- Translate business needs into a coherent technical roadmap for engineering, data, policy, and senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- 5+ years in IT architecture/solution design/technical leadership.
- Experience architecting SaaS and/or cloud solutions (preferably AWS).
- Strong cloud-native patterns knowledge (microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, MCP, agentic workflows).
- Ability to influence external technology vendors/SaaS roadmaps without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharma/healthcare/life sciences or government pricing (revenue/contract/rebate processing).
- Hands-on agentic AI/AI-ML, automation, or solution design in enterprise SaaS.
- Data pipeline design/analytics/reporting; Power BI a plus.
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional).
- DevOps and CI/CD experience.
- Regulated environment experience (SOX, HIPAA) plus; Lilly provides domain onboarding.
- Clear communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills in matrixed organizations.
