Responsibilities:
- Lead technical requirements gathering and define integration approaches; translate between business and technical teams.
- Install and optimize automated back-end integrations to ingest customer healthcare data into Caris environments.
- Create/manage/optimize ETL from internal data systems to support analytic dashboards.
- Assemble large clinical outcome datasets; organize data for ingestion.
- Design and develop clinical informatics/BI infrastructure based on business requirements.
- Establish access to electronic medical records via database access, FHIR, HL7, APIs, or other methods.
- Work in agile fashion with users to build dashboard outputs; adhere to departmental/corporate standards.
- Assist with related duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 3+ years ETL programming.
- 3+ years relational database experience (e.g., Microsoft SQL, MySQL).
- Experience with HL7.
- Certified in Epic Beaker and/or Epic Bridges.
- Ability to work independently and solve application software problems.
- Experience designing ETL strategies across multiple data sources, especially EMR systems.
- Ability to query complex data and perform deep analysis.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general Internet use.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced IT/systems/security architecture knowledge.
- 3+ years ETL for analytic/dashboard environments (healthcare preferred).
- JavaScript scripting.
- Experience deploying ETL using Mirth Connect, CloverETL, or similar.
- Strong leadership, communication, customer service, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
