Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain data pipeline architecture for the unified CMC Operational Data Hub.
- Apply data modeling (datamart design, semantic modeling) and integrate cleanly into Power BI.
- Use Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics) to deliver production-grade solutions.
- Automate ETL across diverse source systems to replace manual reconciliation with repeatable pipelines.
- Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards/reports for CMC portfolio analytics.
- Implement row-level security and tiered access; use advanced SQL for analysis and reporting.
- Use AI/LLM tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) to accelerate integration/pipeline development on validated, governed data.

Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, or Medical related field.
- 3+ years in data engineering or data analytics with demonstrated adoption.
- Expert Power BI (design, development, administration).
- Automation tooling experience (Python, Microsoft Fabric or comparable) for data prep/workflow automation.
- Advanced SQL; experience with Smartsheet.
- Pharma/biopharma knowledge and basic CMC concepts.
- Familiarity with enterprise data ecosystems (or ability to ramp quickly).
- Demonstrated use of AI/LLM to accelerate workflows/analytics.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years; scalable pipelines on OneLake; medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold); Notebooks/Spark/SQL.
- Security/compliance/governance in Microsoft Fabric; production model deployment/maintenance.
- Smartsheet + enterprise platform integrations; agile experience; strong communication.

Benefits/Compensation:
- Anticipated wage: $66,000–$121,000; bonus eligibility; comprehensive benefits (401(k), insurance, vacation/leave, well-being, etc.).
