Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for the Data Technology Team.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes (tools equivalent to Databricks).
- Ensure data quality and integrity via testing and validation using Intelligent Automation principles.
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues to meet expected SLAs.
- Participate in code reviews; contribute to continuous improvement; work with and guide third-party vendors.
- Own and lead hands-on proof of concepts and minimal viable products.
- Present results and insights clearly to senior leaders; use data visualization/dashboarding tools.
- Work in an agile environment with prioritization and deadlines.
- Automate data pipelines and orchestrate workflows.
- Leverage and advance data architecture and cloud stack for production work.
- Ensure GEN AI output adheres to legal/Compliance/IT rules and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years relevant industry experience.
- Bachelorโs degree or equivalent (preferred STEM/quantitative fields); Masterโs preferred.
- Familiarity with LLMs and generative AI concepts.
- Hands-on experience calling LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI/Anthropic) and integrating into applications.
- Basic understanding of agentic architectures (planners, executors, tool use, memory, feedback loops).
- Hands-on agent workflow/prototype building using frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack).
- Prompt engineering for multi-step tasks.
- Awareness of agent failure modes (hallucination, loops, unsafe actions) and mitigation.
- Knowledge of Big Data, data pipelining, machine learning, and automation; intermediate software development.
- Strong Python skills; interest/experience with LLMs, RAG, agentic frameworks, and generative AI patterns.
- Familiarity with Databricks & Lakehouse (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables; Asset Bundles/cluster management).
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure.
- Strong data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing knowledge.
