Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end product vision and multi-year roadmap for AI-enabled clinical development reporting, planning/forecasting, and decision support.
- Partner with clinical development leaders to identify pain points, define high-value AI/advanced analytics opportunities, and build business cases.
- Translate business objectives into product requirements/backlog items, incorporating data architecture, platform constraints, and scalability.
- Prioritize backlog based on business value, risk, technical feasibility, and alignment to enterprise data/AI strategy.
- Ensure solutions comply with GxP, privacy, and data governance requirements.
- Identify gaps between current and target-state capabilities and influence Databricks/AWS/data platform evolution.
- Define and track success metrics (e.g., cost reduction, productivity gains, adoption, satisfaction) and drive continuous improvement.
- Drive change management and user adoption (UX, communications, training, feedback loops).
- Facilitate design workshops with stakeholders, data scientists, engineers, and architects.
- Own vendor/partner strategy for product support, including external development and AI/LLM capabilities.
- Advise clinical development leadership using business and financial acumen to evaluate trade-offs and recommend solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years’ experience OR Master’s degree and 8 years’ experience OR PhD and 2 years’ experience.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Clinical development process knowledge (trial operations, data management, regulatory submissions, patient safety).
- Product Owner/Manager experience delivering scalable data/AI solutions.
- Stakeholder management and influence; trusted advisor to senior leaders.
- Business/financial acumen (ROI, cost-to-value, long-term platform investments).
- Data/AI architecture knowledge; ability to discuss design trade-offs.
- Familiarity with Databricks and AWS.
- Agile/Scrum experience with metrics-driven prioritization.
- Minimal-direction execution with strong judgment and accountability.
