Cytotechnologist

Role: Cytotechnologist responsible for screening and evaluating gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens to detect malignant or abnormal conditions. Responsibilities include cytology screening (liquid-based and conventional), assisting with Fine Needle Aspirations, documenting workload per CLIA standards, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and maintaining safety and HIPAA compliance. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related science, completion of a Cytology program, and ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) certification. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s in Cytology, experience (≥3 months), ThinPrep and SurePath certifications.
