Cytology Lab Supervisor

Role: Cytology Laboratory Supervisor overseeing daily operations in a Cytology department, including microscopic evaluation and technical supervision of cytology specimens. Responsibilities: supervise 10-16 technical staff, ensure quality control and regulatory compliance, perform workload management, develop SOPs, validate methodologies, and oversee cytology screening (liquid-based and conventional slides). Requirements: Bachelor's degree, ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) certification, minimum 6 years of Cytotechnologist experience, proficiency with cytology techniques, laboratory info systems, and regulatory standards (CLIA). Preferred: ThinPrep and SurePath certifications, automation experience.
