Customer Team Leader (CTL) β field-based sales management for the Washington, D.C. - Maryland District (Washington D.C., Baltimore, Silver Spring, Hyattsville, Rockville).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Customer Representatives to deliver strong sales performance by identifying and addressing customer needs.
- Coach and guide Customer Representatives to improve skills and effectiveness.
- Oversee training and manage people-related processes to support continuous development and optimal resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing customer team aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Travel at least 15% to support team/customer engagement (may include occasional overnight stays).
Qualifications & Attributes:
- Ability to build a high-performing, motivated sales team culture (preferably Cardiovascular therapeutic area).
- Leadership through change/challenges using situational coaching and emotional intelligence; growth mindset and trust.
- Customer-focused mindset; strong account planning/management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Solid Rx Pathways knowledge (prescription processes, EHR, pharmacies, benefit design/prior authorization).
- Experience coaching sales professionals in Managed Care environments and partnering with IDN/Account Management teams.
Required Skills/Experience:
- BA/BS with at least 5 yearsβ experience in Sales, Marketing, or Managed Care (Pharmaceutical industry).
- Valid driverβs license.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Advanced degree (MBA/MS in Science/Business/Healthcare).
- 3+ years working with key thought leaders/influential customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care.
Compensation/Benefits (if applicable): $173,200.00 - $272,600.00; annual bonus and long-term incentive; comprehensive medical/dental/vision and retirement (e.g., 401(k)), paid holidays, vacation, and sick/compassionate days.
