Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Customer Representatives to deliver strong sales performance by identifying and addressing customer needs.
- Provide coaching and guidance to Customer Representatives to enhance skills and effectiveness.
- Oversee training programs and manage people-related processes for the customer team (continuous development and optimal resource allocation).
- Develop and maintain a high-performing customer team aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Travel at least 15% of the time to support team and customer engagement activities (occasional overnight stays; details discussed in interview).
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Proven ability to cultivate a high-performing, motivated sales team culture, preferably with Cardiovascular therapeutic area experience.
- Strong leadership using situational coaching and emotional intelligence; growth mindset and agility; build trust and openness during transitions.
- Navigate ambiguity with clear, transparent communication to adapt customer engagement models in Cardiovascular market and beyond.
- Customer-focused mindset; active listening to understand objectives and build relationships.
- Expertise in account planning and management; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience building relationships with key accounts/customers in Cardiovascular sector.
- Solid understanding of Rx Pathways: prescription processes, EHR, pharmacies, benefit design, and prior authorization.
- Skilled in coaching sales professionals in Managed Care; partner with IDNs and Account Management teams.
- Track record leading product launch teams in competitive markets.
- Proficient in leveraging business analytics/technology to generate insights and execute plans.
Required Skills and Experience:
- BA/BS with at least 5 yearsβ experience in Sales, Marketing, or Managed Care within the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Valid driverβs license.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- MBA or MS in Science/Business/Healthcare.
- 3+ years working with key thought leaders/influential customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care.
- Field Sales Management experience; preferably Cardiovascular.
- Strong analytical mindset; experience using tools/technology for customer insights.
- Experience selling in Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Device industries.
- Ability to establish and maintain customer networks.
