Customer Team Leader (CTL)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Customer Representatives to deliver strong sales performance by identifying and addressing customer needs.
- Provide coaching and guidance to improve Customer Representatives’ skills and effectiveness.
- Oversee training programs and manage people-related processes to support continuous development and optimal resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing customer team aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Travel at least 15% to support team and customer engagement activities (occasional overnight stays).

Qualifications and Attributes
- Proven ability to cultivate a high-performing, motivated sales team culture (preferably in the Cardiovascular therapeutic area).
- Strong leadership using situational coaching and emotional intelligence; growth mindset and trust-building.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity; communicate clearly and adapt customer engagement models.
- Customer-focused mindset; listens to understand objectives and build relationships.
- Expertise in account planning/management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience building relationships with key accounts/customers in Cardiovascular.
- Solid understanding of Rx Pathways (prescription processes, EHR, pharmacies, benefit design, prior authorization).
- Coach sales professionals in Managed Care and partner with IDNs and Account Management teams.
- Track record leading product launch teams in competitive markets.
- Proficient in using business analytics/technology to generate insights and coach teams.

Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 5+ years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, or Managed Care in the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills and Experience
- MBA or MS in Science/Business/Healthcare.
- 3+ years working with key thought leaders/influential customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care.
- Field Sales Management experience; ability to lead/coach Cardiovascular sales teams.
- Strong analytical mindset; experience leveraging tools/technology for customer insights.
- Experience selling in Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Device industries.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships/networks in customer organizations.
