Customer Team Leader (CTL) β€” Field-based sales management role covering the New York City district (New York City, The Bronx, Yonkers, Poughkeepsie, and New Rochelle).

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Customer Representatives to deliver strong sales performance by identifying and addressing customer needs.
- Coach and guide Customer Representatives to improve skills and effectiveness.
- Oversee training and people-related processes to ensure continuous development and optimal resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing customer team aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Travel at least 15% of the time to support team and customer engagement activities (may include occasional overnight stays).

Qualifications & Attributes:
- Proven ability to build a high-performing, motivated sales team culture (preferably Cardiovascular therapeutic area).
- Strong leadership through change using situational coaching and emotional intelligence; growth mindset and agility.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate clearly to adapt customer engagement models.
- Customer-focused mindset; actively listens to understand customer objectives and build relationships.
- Expertise in account planning and management; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience building relationships with key accounts/customers in the Cardiovascular sector.
- Solid understanding of Rx Pathways (providers, EHR, pharmacies, benefit design, prior authorization).
- Experience coaching sales professionals in Managed Care; partner with IDNs and Account Management teams.
- Track record leading successful product launch teams in competitive markets.
- Proficient in using business analytics/technology to generate insights and coach team execution.

Required Skills/Experience:
- BA/BS and 5+ years in Sales, Marketing, or Managed Care within the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
- MBA or MS (Science/Business/Healthcare).
- 3+ years with key thought leaders/influential customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care.
- Field Sales Management experience; Cardiovascular market experience.
- Strong analytical mindset; experience leveraging tools/technology for customer insights.
- Experience selling/leading in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Medical Device industries.
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships within customer organizations.
