Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Customer Representatives to deliver strong sales performance by identifying and addressing customer needs.
- Provide coaching and guidance to improve representative skills and effectiveness.
- Oversee training and manage people-related processes for ongoing development and optimal resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing customer team aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Travel at least 15% to support team and customer engagement (may include occasional overnight stays).
Qualifications and Attributes
- Proven ability to build a high-performing, motivated sales team culture (preferably Cardiovascular therapeutic area).
- Strong leadership using situational coaching and emotional intelligence; growth mindset and trust-building during change.
- Communicate clearly to adapt customer engagement models in Cardiovascular and beyond.
- Customer-focused mindset; listen to understand objectives and build relationships across the organization.
- Expertise in account planning/management with cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience building relationships with key accounts/customers in the Cardiovascular sector.
- Solid understanding of Rx Pathways (prescription processes, EHR, pharmacies, benefit design, prior authorization).
- Ability to coach for Managed Care environments; partner with IDNs and Account Management teams.
- Track record leading product launch teams in competitive markets.
- Use business analytics/technology to generate insights and coach effective execution.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelorโs (BA/BS) and at least 5 yearsโ experience in Sales, Marketing, or Managed Care (Pharmaceutical industry).
- Valid driverโs license.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- MBA or MS in Science/Business/Healthcare.
- 3+ years working with key thought leaders/influential customers (group practices, hospitals, or managed care).
- Field Sales Management experience; Cardiovascular market experience.
- Experience selling/leading in Pharma/Biotech/Medical Devices.
