Customer Team Leader (CTL) β field-based sales management for Kansas City district (Kansas City, MO; Springfield, MO; Des Moines, IA; Overland Park, KS; Topeka, KS).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Customer Representatives to deliver strong sales performance by identifying and addressing customer needs.
- Coach and guide Customer Representatives to improve skills and effectiveness.
- Oversee training programs and people-related processes to ensure continuous development and optimal resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing customer team aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations.
- Travel at least 15% (may include occasional overnight stays).
Qualifications and Attributes
- Proven ability to build a high-performing sales team culture (preferably Cardiovascular therapeutic area).
- Leadership through change using situational coaching and emotional intelligence; growth mindset and agility; foster trust and openness.
- Communicate clearly to adapt customer engagement models in Cardiovascular market.
- Customer-focused: listen to understand objectives and build meaningful relationships.
- Strong account planning/management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience building relationships with key accounts/customers in Cardiovascular.
- Solid understanding of Rx Pathways: provider prescription processes, EHR, pharmacies, benefit design, prior authorization.
- Coaching in Managed Care and partnering with IDN and Account Management teams.
- Track record leading product launch teams in competitive markets.
- Use business analytics/technology to generate insights and execute plans.
Required Skills and Experience
- BA/BS with minimum 5 yearsβ experience in Sales, Marketing, or Managed Care within the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Valid driverβs license.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- MBA/MS or similar.
- 3+ years working with key thought leaders/influential customers (large group practices, hospitals, or managed care).
- Field Sales Management experience; Cardiovascular sales team leadership.
- Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Device industry experience; strong customer relationship/networking.
