Customer Service - Donor Support Technician

Role: Pheresis Technician responsible for preparing donors, equipment, and monitoring the pheresis process to ensure safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include setting up and operating the autopheresis machine, responding to alarms, recording clinical data via PDA, managing donor flow, and maintaining compliance with SOPs, HSE, and OSHA policies. The technician ensures accurate documentation, maintains a clean work environment, and may be cross-trained in other center functions. Key focus on donor safety, data accuracy, and process adherence. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum of 3 months’ experience, preferably in healthcare or related setting; basic math skills required. Preferred skills include bilingual abilities if needed. High-value specifics: role centered in a blood center or plasma donation environment, supporting hyperimmune programs if applicable, with an emphasis on donor safety, data management, and regulatory compliance relevant to blood and plasma collection operations.
