Customer Service - Donor Support Technician

Role: Donor Processing Technician supporting pheresis procedures in a blood/plasma center. Responsibilities: prepare autopheresis equipment, monitor donor during pheresis, respond to alarms, disconnect donors post-process, record incidents and donor data accurately in electronic systems, maintain a safe, clean environment, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. May provide cross-training in other areas and support hyper immune programs if applicable. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months’ experience, preferably in medical or health care settings; basic math skills; ability to follow instructions, operate equipment, and perform manual tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs. High-Value: blood/plasma collection, pheresis process, donor safety, hazard exposure, use of PDA for recordkeeping, compliance with HSE/OSHA policies. Work setup: physically demanding, fast-paced environment with extended hours, PPE requirements, and potential exposure to hazardous materials and bloodborne pathogens; may involve working overtime.
