Role: Support the operation of pheresis procedures by preparing equipment, monitoring donors and processes, and ensuring safety and data accuracy. Responsibilities: set up autopheresis machines, monitor donor reactions, respond to alarms, disconnect donors post-procedure, document incidents via PDA, link equipment to donor records, alert supervisors about flow issues, maintain a clean work environment, and adhere to safety protocols. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months' experience, preferably in healthcare; basic math skills; ability to follow instructions; manual dexterity, physical stamina, and willingness to work extended hours in a fast-paced, potentially hazardous environment. HighValue: experience in medical or health settings; familiarity with blood collection or plasma donation; working with blood-borne pathogens and hazardous chemicals; use of electronic data management systems; ability to work in a high-volume plasma collection center. WorkSetup: physical presence required; may involve lifting up to 25 pounds, standing/walking most of the shift; overtime and extended hours may be necessary.
