Customer Service - Donor Support Technician

Role: Support the pheresis process by preparing equipment, monitoring donors, and ensuring safety and compliance in a blood/plasma collection setting. Responsibilities: set up autopheresis machines, monitor donors during procedures, respond to alarms, record incidents and donor data accurately via PDA, maintain a clean environment, and follow health and safety policies. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months' experience preferably in a medical or health environment; basic math skills; physical ability to stand, lift up to 25 pounds, and handle bloodborne hazards. High-Value: blood/plasma collection, pheresis procedures, donor safety, data recording, safety protocols (HSE, OSHA), and potential cross-training. WorkSetup: physical environment includes exposure to chemicals, extreme temperatures, and bloodborne pathogens; extended hours and overtime required.
