Customer Service - Donor Support Technician

Role: Support the pheresis process by preparing equipment, monitoring donors, and recording data to ensure safe and efficient plasma collection. Responsibilities include machine setup, monitoring for alarms or adverse reactions, disconnecting donors post-procedure, maintaining a clean environment, and documenting incidents via PDA. Also responsible for ensuring supply availability, following safety protocols, and maintaining confidentiality. May perform cross-training and support other operational areas as needed. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, at least 3 months’ work experience in healthcare or related environment, basic math, and ability to follow instructions. High-value: involvement in blood/plasma collection,pheresis procedures, adherence to HSE and OSHA standards, working in a fast-paced setting with exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous chemicals. Work setup: physical presence in a blood center; extended hours and overtime required; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
