Customer Service-Donor Support Technician (Bilingual-Spanish/English)

Role: Operates and monitors pheresis machines to facilitate blood component donation, ensuring donor safety and process accuracy. Responsibilities: prepare equipment, monitor donors and alarms during pheresis, record incidents and equipment linkages via PDA, disconnect donors post-procedure, maintain a clean work environment, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and SOPs. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months’ experience, preferably in healthcare or related fields; basic math skills; manual dexterity; ability to follow instructions; physical ability to stand, lift up to 25 pounds, and work extended hours in a fast-paced, potentially hazardous environment. High-Value: blood donation, pheresis procedures, donor safety, equipment operation, data recording, safety and compliance standards. WorkSetup: shift work with potential overtime; environment includes exposure to chemicals, extreme temperatures, and blood-borne pathogens.
