Customer Service - Donor Support Technician

Role: Support thepheresis process by preparing equipment, monitoring donors, and documenting procedures at a blood center. Responsibilities: set up and ensure proper functioning of autopheresis machines; monitor donors during pheresis, respond to alarms, and disconnect donors post-procedure; record incidents, alarms, and donor data accurately in electronic systems; maintain a safe, clean environment and ensure supplies are available; adhere to safety, HSE, OSHA, and confidentiality protocols. Requirements: high school diploma; at least 3 months’ experience, preferably in medical or healthcare settings; basic math skills; physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform manual tasks; ability to follow instructions and observe safety protocols. High-Value: blood donation, pheresis, donor monitoring, equipment setup, safety compliance, possibly bilingual communication, and working in a fast-paced, potentially hazardous environment. Work setup: primarily on-site with extended hours and overtime as needed.
