Customer Service - Donor Support Technician

Role: Support the pheresis process by preparing equipment, monitoring donors, and ensuring accurate data recording. Responsibilities: set up autopheresis machines, respond to alarms, disconnect donors post-procedure, monitor donor reactions, document incidents via PDA, link equipment to donors, alert supervisors of flow issues, maintain a clean environment, and adhere to safety and confidentiality standards. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months of experience, preferably in healthcare; basic math skills; ability to follow instructions; manual dexterity; physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment. High-Value: donor center operations, pheresis procedures, biosafety, bloodborne pathogen exposure, use of PDA technology, possibly supporting hyperimmune programs. Work setup: primarily on-site; overtime and extended hours may be required; safety and PPE adherence essential.
