Role: Supportpheresis processes by preparing equipment, monitoring donors, and documenting data, ensuring safety and compliance. Responsibilities: set up autopheresis machines, respond to alarms, disconnect donors post-procedure, monitor donor reactions, record incidents via PDA, link equipment to donors, communicate flow issues, ensure accurate data entry, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, at least 3 months' experience preferably in healthcare, basic math skills, ability to follow instructions, manual dexterity, and physical stamina to stand, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment. HighValue: blood/pheresis procedures, equipment prep, donor monitoring, data recording, health and safety compliance, possible cross-training, and bilingual skills if required. WorkSetup: physical, with extended hours, overtime, and use of PPE; environment includes exposure to chemicals, extreme temperatures, and bloodborne pathogens.
