Customer Service - Donor Support Technician

Role: Support the pheresis process by preparing equipment, monitoring donors, and ensuring safety and data accuracy. Responsibilities: set up autopheresis machines, respond to alarms and donor reactions, disconnect donors post-procedure, record incidents and donor data using PDA, and maintain a clean work environment. Ensure compliance with HSE and OSHA policies, and maintain confidentiality. May assist in other areas and support hyper immune programs if applicable. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months’ experience in medical or health environment or related education; basic math skills. Preferred skills include cross-training and bilingual abilities. High-Value: Role involves blood donor pheresis, equipment monitoring, and data management; physical demands include standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; exposure to blood-borne pathogens and hazardous chemicals; work in a fast-paced environment with extended hours may be required.
