Customer Service - Donor Support Technician

Role: Support phlebotomy operations by preparing equipment, monitoring donors during pheresis, and documenting procedures. Responsibilities: set up autopheresis machines, observe donor reactions, respond to alarms, disconnect donors post-procedure, record incidents and equipment linkages via PDA, ensure accuracy of donor data per SOPs, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with HSE and OSHA policies. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months’ experience in healthcare or related setting; basic math skills; ability to follow instructions and perform manual dexterity tasks. High-Value: involves blood component collection via pheresis, with emphasis on safety, data accuracy, and donor monitoring. Work setup: physical role with standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs; potential for extended hours, in hazardous environments, and wearing PPE. Bilingual skills may be preferred; cross-training may be required.
