Customer Service - Donor Support Technician

Role: Support the pheresis process by preparing equipment, monitoring donors, and ensuring process accuracy and safety. Responsibilities include machine setup, donor monitoring during pheresis, responding to alarms, recording incident data via PDA, maintaining clean work environment, ensuring supplies are available, and adhering to safety protocols. The role also involves handling donor data accurately and complying with SOPs related to hyperimmune programs if applicable. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 months’ experience in a healthcare or related environment; basic math skills; ability to follow instructions; manual dexterity; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; ability to work in a fast-paced, potentially hazardous setting with PPE usage. Preferred skills include bilingual abilities and flexibility for overtime. Work setup: physical presence in a donor center; extended hours and overtime may be required; exposure to chemicals, temperature extremes, and blood-borne pathogens.
