Customer Planning Analyst

Role Summary

Perrigo is seeking a Customer Planning Analyst who excels in demand planning and analytics and has a passion for improving forecast accuracy and reducing bias. The role will develop analytical insights, drive consensus on demand assumptions, and enrich the demand signal. You will partner with the sales team and may have customer-facing responsibilities to build strong collaborative planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Improve SKU-level forecast accuracy and eliminate bias across products for assigned customer(s); assist team members with other accounts.
• Analyze distribution and velocity demand factors (POS data, customer supplied forecasts, promotions, service issues, etc.) to enrich the forecast and develop reasons to believe.
• Provide robust investigations to develop insights and validate assumptions, while highlighting gaps, exceptions, and major changes.
• Complete root cause analysis on forecast error and collaborate with business partners on corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal sales partners and, in some cases, external customers to understand and align on key drivers.
• Lead internal and/or external customer-focused forecast meetings as appropriate.
• Conduct audit reports and mass data loads on a regular cadence.

Qualifications

• Required: 1-3 years of forecast/demand planning experience.
• Required: Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
• Required: Critical thinker with strong problem solving and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Required: Strong technical skills to mine large amounts of data, develop new tools, and drive process improvements.
• Required: Ability to obtain and analyze data, build strong relationships with business partners, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Required: High attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and numbers.
• Required: High proficiency in Excel.
