General Summary:
Customer Engagement Liaison (CEL) – East, US Kidney is responsible for identifying and driving engagement with key nephrology stakeholders (primarily HCPs) via commercial programming (speaker bureaus, advisory boards, congresses, regional insights meetings). Supports indications in IgA nephropathy (IgAN) and APOL1-mediated kidney disease (AMKD) and other potential kidney diseases. Drives advocacy of the U.S. Commercial Kidney portfolio and implements cross-functional stakeholder engagement plans.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own and lead commercial engagement plans informing brand strategy and messaging.
- Identify and monitor market trends and treatment insights; strategize solutions to maximize commercial efforts.
- Identify, build, and manage HCP/stakeholder relationships for commercial programming.
- Partner with HCPs on speaker bureau activities (attend events, train/evaluate speakers, provide feedback).
- Lead regional insights meetings by identifying and engaging key advisors.
- Nominate members and support advisory boards/strategic council activities.
- Plan and execute national/regional conferences for senior-leader HCP engagement.
- Gather and synthesize HCP feedback for commercial projects.
- Deliver customer insights on strategy, tactics, messaging, and execution.
- Collaborate with field roles (sales, medical, access) to optimize engagement and insight generation.
- Model and instill compliance focused on ethics and integrity.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Typically 8 years in healthcare/biopharma or equivalent.
- Nephrology experience; prior Thought Leader Liaison or Regional Marketing Lead experience.
- Rare disease/specialty product launch experience.

Required Skills:
- Customer focus; strong HCP engagement knowledge.
- Clinical/technical/scientific aptitude in complex disease states.
- Execute strategic/tactical plans on short timelines.
- Effective verbal/written/presentation communication.
- Self-driven with strong organizing/planning.
- Collaborative; manage multiple projects.

Travel Requirements:
- ~60–80% domestic travel (some weekends).
- Valid driver’s license.

Pay Range:
- $152,800–$229,200.
