Customer Engagement Liaison (CEL) β East, US Kidney
General Summary
- Identify and drive engagement with key nephrology stakeholders (primarily HCPs) through commercial programming (speaker bureaus, advisory boards, congresses, regional insights meetings) to support IgA nephropathy (IgAN), APOL1-mediated kidney disease (AMKD), and other potential kidney diseases.
- Develop and execute cross-functional customer engagement strategies with US Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Medical Affairs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Own and lead commercial engagement plans that inform brand strategy and messaging.
- Identify/monitor market trends and treatment pattern insights; strategize to maximize commercial uptake.
- Build/manage relationships with nephrology stakeholders for commercial programming.
- Support HCP speaker bureau activities (attend events, train/evaluate speakers, provide feedback).
- Lead regional insights meetings and advisory board/strategic council activities.
- Plan and execute national/regional conferences for senior-leader HCP engagement.
- Gather/synthesize HCP feedback; deliver actionable customer insights on strategy, tactics, messaging, and execution.
- Collaborate with sales/medical/access to optimize engagement and insight generation.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelorβs degree.
- Typically 8+ years in healthcare/biopharma (or equivalent).
- Nephrology experience.
- Experience as Thought Leader Liaison or Regional Marketing Lead.
- Rare disease/specialty product launch experience.

- HCP engagement expertise; clinical/technical/scientific aptitude.
- Execute strategic/tactical plans on short timelines.
- Strong communication; self-driven organization; highly collaborative; manage multiple projects.
Travel Requirements
- ~60β80% domestic travel; weekends may be included.
Pay Range
- $152,800β$229,200. Eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
