Custodian

Role: Custodian responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety at a collection center. Primary objectives include cleaning, minor repairs, grounds monitoring, supply management, and ensuring a safe, organized environment. Responsibilities: clean work areas, perform minor maintenance (e.g., changing bulbs, plumbing, painting), monitor grounds, assist with shipping materials, restock supplies, and uphold safety and confidentiality standards. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent; minimum three months custodial experience preferred; ability to follow instructions, perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds, standing, bending, and walking frequently; able to work extended hours, in hazardous conditions, and wear PPE. High-Value: custodial services, minor maintenance, safety compliance, potential cross-training, bilingual skills may be required. WorkSetup: full-time with overtime as needed; environment involves exposure to chemicals, extreme temperatures, and blood-borne pathogens.
